United Rentals, the official equipment rental company of the Verizon IndyCar Series, has signed a new multi-year deal with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.
Graham Rahal’s No. 15 Honda will primarily sport United Rentals colors at the streets of St. Petersburg, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Raceway at Belle Isle Park. The company’s support of the team, which began at Belle Isle in 2016, will see United Rentals be an associate sponsor for the full season, including at Long Beach where Rahal’s car will carry a new Total livery.
The popular Turns for Troops program will continue in 2018, with United Rentals donating $50 to SoldierStrong for each racing lap completed by Rahal. More than $150,000 was donated in 2017.
“We have enjoyed a tremendously successful partnership together and take pride in the small part we play in their philanthropic program in support of SoldierStrong,” team owner Bob Rahal said.
Rahal and his new teammate Takuma Sato will embark on the 2018 IndyCar season with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 11.
