With a quick revolution of the Raceway at Belle Isle Park, Bryan Sellers delivered the third IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship pole in four years for Paul Miller Racing at the temporary street circuit.

Sellers’ best lap in the No. 48 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 clocked in at 1:28.942, nearly a half second quicker than second-fastest Katherine Legge.

Legge, the defending class winner in Detroit, turned a 1:29.390 in Meyer Shank Racing’s No. 86 Acura NSX GT3. The second Acura, driven by Justin Marks, placed third in the GTD qualifying order and will start directly behind the pole-sitting Lamborghini.

Dominik Baumann and David Heinemeier Hansson ensured that 3GT Racing’s cars both reached the top five with the fourth- and fifth-fastest laps, respectively, in the team’s pair of Lexus RC F GT3s.
